Our First Home Grown Pumpkin

It just wouldn't get any bigger. It's been that size for over a month. I was pulling a few weeds today after work and I moved the little pumpkin just barely and the stalk fell right off the top like it had just been resting there, so I brought it in and washed it up. Carved a little face for him and hot glued his stalk back on. He has bug bites and scratches, he is definitely happier in the house with us (just look at that smile).

Maybe . . .

The first signs of a potential pumpkin, I have around 24 plants and so far only one possible pumpkin.

Testing the Carrots

They're not ready yet, to small still! We did get about forty onions out of the garden two weeks ago, and I made some killer French onion soup on Sunday. Finally planted some corn, but still need to clear some land for pumpkins (it's been super hot).
