New Orleans

We just got back from our second trip to New Orleans. We love adventuring around the Vieux Carré and always find something new, spooky, interesting, or delicious when we visit. I'll be posting a bunch of photos and stories over the weekend and in to the next week from our adventures in the Crescent City.

Ooh...I can't wait to see them. I've been dying to go to New Orleans for awhile, but wasn't sure how it had fared after Katrina. Definitely want to make notes of the 'spooky' things to see and do. Although I bet it was crazy HOT and HUMID there right now. Not that it ain't here, but maybe I'll wait til' the cooler months...if there is such a thing.

Wendy the weather was just like here, except it rained more there while we where there. We went the first time in 2008 and fell in love with the vibe and the history of the city. Don't let Katrina scare you off. New Orleans is and has been back and ready for your visit. Do your research before you go, what you want to see and do, where you want to eat, etc. The first trip we didn't research restaurants and we had several crappy meals.

New Orleans should be on everyone's bucket list. Its so much more then just Bourbon Street and Mardi Gras.
