I Don't Know How I Felt About This

I guess it was cool that horror got a mention, but who ever put the video package together must have been heavy in to slasher films from the 80's. The had some Universal monsters but not one Hammer film, not even any Vincent Price? Its the freaking Academy awards, you would think they would have included more classics. Where were all the cheesy 60's and 70's horror films, and don't even get me started about the sparkly Twilight kids introducing it. Something is better then nothing I guess.

Sorry about the low quality video, I looked for over an hour just to find this one. All the others got pulled pretty quick.

I would guess that the old Hammer films and such weren't included because they weren't really part of the Hollywood machine. A HUGE shame, but not as much of a shame as Vincent Price being left out!!!
And I really wouldn't consider either Beetlejuice or Edward Scissorhands a horror film that they included.

I agree, they arent part of Hollyweird. I noticed a lot of the films that made it in the montage stared people who were either guests or presenters at the awards. Beetlejuice = Alec Baldwin
Edward Scissorhands = Anthony Michael Hall
Misery = Kathy Bates
Little Shop of Horrors = Steve Martin
