He is, He Isn't

But the movie is still getting made and that's all I really care about, and the fact that it is not going to be a comedy and Eddie Murphy has nothing to do with it is just perfect too.

First Signs

Stopped by Michael's today to see if they had anything good yet? We saw that the first signs of Halloween have arrived, but only a very limited selection of things so far. Shouldn't be much longer now.

Can you believe they want 49 bucks for those big pumpkins on the bottom right?!

Nothing too impressive yet, I almost feel like I've seen most of it before. . .

Lost Boys: The Thirst

October 2010! Looks like it could be good. I thought part two "The Tribe" was OK, the best part was the very end (Alan in the car), and I wonder how they plan to explain the ending of part two away in part three. If you've seen "The Tribe" then you'll understand what I'm talking about. I assume this is going straight to DVD, don't know but I'll be buying a copy for sure.

Lazy Sunday

It was rainy here all day. I was off from work, I didn't feel like doing any homework, couldn't do yard work because of the rain, to lazy for prop building today. It was a lazy Sunday of movies and munchies. I started off with Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, and then I watched Blacula.

After that I watched Dark Night of the Scarecrow on a borrowed VHS. I can't wait to see it on DVD, the quality of this clip looks a hundred times better then the tape I watched.

And the last movie I watched today was House Of Dark Shadows, which I had never seen before. I remember my Mom watching the TV show when I was a kid, but I had never seen the movie. I enjoyed it, I may have to watch the TV series now.

I love days like today, rainy zero stress movie days.

I haven't watched this since I was a kid, good stuff.

Our Trip To Hogsmeade

Here are some photos from our trip to Hogsmeade and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando. If you haven't been yet, its freaking-unbelievably-incredible! The theming of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts is literally amazing.

The shops are great, the ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is a one of a kind experience. I've been to a lot of theme parks and I have never been on a ride quite like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. I won't spoil it for anyone who is planning to go, but I'll say this; when they say no loose items, it's for a good reason. Enjoy the pictures, and oh yeah Pumpkin Juice is delicious and would probably make a great flavor to infuse some rum with. I'll let you all know how it tastes when I do it.

Twilight: For Guys!!

Saw this over at Dread Central and just had to repost it!

First Trailer for "Let Me In"

I think this looks a lot better then I expected it to. I really enjoyed "Let the Right One In" and had my reservations about an American remake of such a highly acclaimed film. It didn't realize who was in it until I watched the trailer, and I'm excited about the young actors that have been cast in the lead roles. I really liked Kodi Smit-McPhee in The Road, and I loved Chloe Moretz as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass. Let Me In is set to open in theaters on October 1st of this year, and I can't wait.

Happy Fourth Of July

Have a safe and fun Independence Day everyone!

Teaser Poster

This actually looks pretty bad-ass! It's to bad they're going to screw it up with 3-D.

For Your Eating Fun

We love the retro ads for concessions they play at our local drive-in, The Silver Moon Drive-In. I found videos of the spots they play before the movie and thought I'd share them. This one is our favorite, we recite it along with the announcer.

"Who me?"
