My Wife and I had never seen this movie before this weekend. Not too scary unless you’re very young, but a very pleasant way to spend an hour and a half. Based on a book by Roald Dahl about a young boy, his Grandmother, and their encounter with a group of witches at a seaside resort (No spoilers here). Anjelica Huston and Rowan Atkinson are the most familiar faces in this 1990 film. I read that Warner Brothers is remaking The Witches with the original darker ending that the book had. Not too much info on the Internet about it, but I did see a proposed 2008 release. Overall a nice family type movie, good for Halloween or anytime.
3 out of 4 ... Fun!

Had a wife but couldn't keep her.

This is either going to be scary and completely crazy, or a disappointing turd, I'm hoping for scary.

The quicker picker upper (Part 2)
The second roll had completely different characters. The skeleton looks like he danced right off a Social Distortion T-shirt and right on to my paper towels. Gotta love Target.

Freaking Virus/Ad ware
My computer is all jacked up. I had to salvage my pictures, movies, and music and start all over. I'm formatting as I type this, 92% formatted. I got some sort of ad ware or virus that causes my box to freeze as well as pop ups galore! Oh well I can rebuild it, it will be faster, better...
